Creative Goldwork: Pattern in Gold from Celtic Artefacts
Beads, purls and pailettes will be stitched amongst wavy lines of Grecian cord to create the centre of a pattern in a panel of rich golden textures on a silk background. Areas of closely couched Japanese gold thread embellished with purlwork will complete a pattern inspired by metalwork of the Celtic people. The completed embroidery will be suitable for framing as a panel. Previous experience with embroidery is not necessary.
